Established in back in 2016 in the ZW Foot & Ankle Clinics in Kendal. ZW Clinics has now grown into an all singing all dancing multi-disciplinary practice. People travel from far and wide to acquire the expertise of Zoe and her staff members.
What is a Podiatrist?
A Podiatrist is a Health Professional specialising in the diagnosis and management of the foot, ankle and associated structures. A Podiatrist may treat anything from an ingrown toenail requiring surgery, prescribing custom made foot orthoses to assist with lower limb malfunction, sports injury management or even become a Podiatric Surgeon.

How far we've come
Zoe Wilson Owner and Founder of ZW Clinics opened her first clinic, ZW Foot & Ankle in 2016. Since then, the clinics have gone from strength to strength. Within 6 years we have treated thousands of patients, introduced new technology such as Diagnostic Ultrasound, Injection Therapy, Shockwave Therapy, HOKA Footwear, The Richie Brace and built ZW Clinic 2 in Kirkby Lonsdale focusing on state of the art Gait assessment and treatment.

Here at ZW Clinics we only want to give you the best possible service! That’s why Zoe has collaborated with leading experts in the profession. Mr George Flanagan is a podiatric Surgeon and he offers consultations for one day a month. Jemma Donald owner and founder of Absorlute Physio in Penrith comes once a month to treat patients who need a physio’s perspective. Zoe and Jemma offer a ‘one of a kind’ consultation where you can have a physion and podiatrist in one room!

There is a product for everyone ranging from everyday foot care, dry cracked heels, dry skin, odour, aching joints and active feet on the move! Adam Chapman
Adam of Kendal and Windermere currently ranked World Number 1831 as a pro golfer. Adam narrowly missed out on qualifying for the open (2022). Adam is a fine golfer and is looking to make it to the Open. Zoe and Adam have been working together to see how custom orthotics can help gain him maximum performance including stability, support of his foot and ankle structures, shock attenuation and improved ground velocity.
Ashen Silva
Ashen Silva is a Sri Lankan professional cricketer and is the professional for Settle Cricket Club. He has played in more than 80 first-class matches since 2011. Ashen represented Sri Lanka against England in the March - April 2012 test. We assist Ashen with orthoses in his cricket shoes to improve his foot posture, shock attenuation and tissue stress levels during batting, fielding and bowling.

Not only does Zoe sponsor sports individuals but she also sponsors local sports clubs.
Carus Green Golf Club, Kendal
We work very closely with Carus Green in a number of ways. We sponsor Open competitions throughout the year, sponsor a bay on the driving range and more recently have funded the half way house clock through ZW Clinics. Zoe regularly attends competitions herself at the club, treats its members with Foot & Ankle pain and is due to attend a Free Foot advice day in the spring of 2022 to assist players in selecting appropriate Golf shoes for their foot type, performance and comfort on the course.
Settle Cricket Club, Settle
Settle Cricket Club (SCC) are founders and play in the Ribblesdale Cricket League. They are a hugely successful and historical club, last years League Cup and League winners! Settle Cricket Club have a very successful set of youth groups and have 3 senior teams who give their all each week one. They also have a womens team. ZW Clinics passionately support the club and treat its players with foot and lower limb pain.
