Zoe Wilson
About
Zoë is a young and enthusiastic Podiatrist who specialises in Musculoskeletal Podiatry and Biomechanics. Zoë Graduated from the University of Salford in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Podiatry.
Zoë began her Master of Science (MSc) Degree in Theory of Podiatric Surgery in September 2015 at Glasgow Caledonian University and graduated in 2019 achieving a Merit in her surgical studies. Zoë has been working alongside Consultant podiatric surgeons in various foot & ankle surgical units since beginning her Masters’ to broaden her practical and theoretical application of her masters’ programme. During this time Zoë also completed her Passport to surgical training. Zoe continues to fulfil her fascination of surgical management of the foot & ankle.
Zoë’s vision is to create a service where all foot and ankle needs can be delivered under one roof, and now we have it. We offer everything from a podiatric surgeon consultation to routine podiatry.
Zoe is a golfer, cyclist and lover of The Lake District Fells where she continually finds new adventures with her dog. Having had foot problems herself, Zoe fully appreciates and understands what her patients go through in terms of optimal foot health and function. She is always happy to help, assist and answer any questions from colleagues and patients alike.

Ellie Shawcross
About
Ellie graduated from the University of Salford in 2020 and is our youngest member. Ellie has a special interest in Nail Surgery. We proud to have her bright, bubbly, professional personality on board! Come see Ellie at either our Kirkby Lonsdale or Kendal Clinic for all things routine. She performs other services such as Run3D, Shockwave Therapy and SWIFT Verrucae treatment.

Freya Hodson
About
Freya is the newest member to the ZW team. Freya joins us from the NHS where she has been performing podiatry for 9 years. She has a lot of experience treating patients with Diabetes, particularly Type 2 but also type 1, Rheumatoid arthritis, patients with heart conditions and poor circulation/vascular problems and auto immune diseases.
Freya also worked alongside Podiatric Surgeons and was responsible for the post operative care of all patients that had foot surgery, therefore has developed knowledge on the type of foot surgery out there and recovery process.
My main hobbies are hiking, wild swimming and paddle boarding, just any outdoor activity really, and I also love making jewellery especially mountain and nature inspired pieces.
My favourite films are the Lord of the Rings trilogy and my favourite TV series is Stranger Things.

Nicole Waters
About
Nicole graduated from the The University of Huddersfield in 2019 and began her Podiatry career in New Zealand in private practice. Nicole has since moved back to the UK and has found her place with us at ZW. We love her bright, professional and dedicated approach to patient care. Nicole has a special interest in Core Podiatry Care and Verrucae Treatment.

Colette Grainger
About
Colette brings with her over 30 years customer service and administration experience over a variety of sectors. She loves working face to face with customers and making sure they leave with a smile and feeling happy. Colette has lived in the Lake District for 28 years and loves it all even when its wet and windy, the rain fills up our lakes and keeps our gorgeous area lush and green.
Colette loves walking around the lakes with her hubby and dog, a JRT named Tallula. Enjoys cooking for her family and loves to veganise old family favourites. Love dancing and a little bit of running. She is a big rugby fan (watching, not playing).
Favourite film is Love Actually because actually love is all around. Has a very eclectic music taste from 80’s pop to soft rock and country. Her favorite song is Rule The World by Take That and was her wedding song. Love

About
Will joined the business back in March 2022. Will is Zoe’s partner and business partner. He has a background in product design and graphic design. Through his design background he has been able to deal with every aspect of a company. Will has a particular interest in innovation and implementing the next big thing into the clinics. He believes that innovation is important in ensuring that our patients are getting the best treatment possible. Will and Colette work closely together to ensure you have the best experience possible at our ZW Clinics. Will is a keen sportsman and in his spare time plays and captains his home cricket team, Settle Cricket Club 1st XI. He also plays rugby union for his home team North Ribblesdale along with his brother.
