Mr George Flanagan
Podiatric Surgeon
Mr Flanagan is a fellowship trained podiatric foot & ankle surgeon specialising in the surgical and non surgical management of foot and ankle problems. Having trained throughout the United Kingdom with additional training in the USA & Germany he treats a wide variety of foot problems including arthritis, bunions, toe problems and tendon issues providing a comprehensive range of treatment options.
Mr Flanagan has a specialist interest in limb preservation surgery (performing reconstructive surgery and minor amputations in an attempt to prevent limb loss) and non malignant soft tissue tumours, namely Ledderhose Disease (plantar fibromatosis) for which he is a national clinical advisor and charity trustee.
Mr Flanagan currently leads on undergraduate surgery education at the University of Northampton, teaches on postgraduate podiatric surgery masters programs and is an external assessor in podiatric surgery at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh. Additionally Mr Flanagan is an accredited surgical tutor with the Faculty of Podiatric Surgery.

What will I need for my consultation?
We will need to know if you have had any updates to your medical history since your last appointment. If you have any scan results, test results or referral notes from your GP or other health professional we suggest that these are also brought to the appointment.
A pair of shorts will be required or loose fitting trousers.
